Defines requirements, designs, and prototypes, and integrates the mechanical components on military systems.  Exercises knowledge and experience with CAD programs such as Solidworks or Pro-E.  Works independently to accomplish tasks, and coordinates and communicates with other members of the design team and government customers to ensure program success.

Required:

ABET-accredited BS Mechanical Engineering or similar degree

Background in Structural Design and Analysis

Minimum 5 years experience performing engineering-related duties

Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Preferred:

Knowledge of Finite Element Methods

Knowledge of Geo-Dimensioning and Tolerancing

Working knowledge of military/DOD practices and standards

Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
