Description

Designs, develops, and tests software using formal, integrated software development environments such as Visual Studio, JDeveloper, and/or Eclipse.  Reviews requirements and ensures that target software is adequate to meet project performance goals.  Performs multiple tasks and operates in a dynamic environment with frequently changing priorities.  Demonstrates ability to effectively interface with all levels of staff including peers or team members, management and customers.  Exercises a solid, demonstrable technical background in software engineering, development, and test.  


Requirements

Requirements:

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree, or equivalent technical degree
  • Minimum 2 years Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience 
  • Unix/Linux (Solaris) and/or Windows operating system experience
  • Proficiency in C#, C++, and/or Java programming
  • High level of interpersonal skills to interact with customers, senior level personnel, and team members
  • Some travel
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred:

  • Experience with CMMI processes
  • Possess communication skills to provide systems diagnoses and resolution for current systems
  • SQL, Oracle database experience
  • DOORS Requirements tool experience
  • Unified Modeling Language (UML) 2.x design experience - Rational Rose or IBM Rhapsody
  • DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) experience
