Digital Design/FPGA Engineer

Description
Designs and verifies Digital Design/Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA).  Demonstrates a high level of detail in the design of circuit cards and equipment; hardware and software integration; and testing and debugging.  Demonstrates practical experience within areas of digital design, FPGA/CPLD design, and simulation and verification. 

Requirements
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Computer Science or an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering degree 
  • Minimum 4 years task related experience
  • Fluent  in VHDL and/or Verilog
  • Experience with popular tools (Altera, Xilinx, Synplicity, Modelsim, etc)
  • Approximately 25% travel
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with system simulation tools (Matlab, Simulink)
  • Circuit designs for digital signal processing and/or communication applications
