Description
Provides technical support to the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) program. Supports the development and exploitation of Conditioned Based Maintenance (CBM) functions on UAS systems. Analyses instrumentation data for the purpose of developing condition indicators for use in automatic diagnostic systems. Assists in developing and maintaining data systems used for evaluating the performance and reliability of UAS systems and any CBM solution implemented on UAS platforms. Identifies specific problem areas, determines the impact of those problems, develops proposed solutions, and formulates cost and schedule estimates for implementing solutions.
Requirements
Required:
- BS/BA from an accredited institution
- Minimum 7 years experience
- Appropriate additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree on an exception basis
- Strong understanding of The Army Maintenance Management System - Aviation (TAMMS-A)
- Working knowledge of UAS systems and the maintenance environment used to support them
- Demonstrated familiarity with data transmission and the information infrastructure necessary to support CBM
- Some travel
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

- Experience with Health and Usage Monitoring Systems (HUMS)
